I told our Ewe Ewe this morning hang on till we come back today, do you think she understood? When we got back after unloading I went to check on them and there was a freshly born lamb by her side, pure white, I kept hanging around thinkign there will be another one, but she only had the one, he was born shorlty before my arrival, she was still cleaning him up, did not allow him to lay down, anytime he did she came to him and pawed him till he got up, moved around so he could have a drink, lowered herself so he could drink, really nicely done. She is very good, she did push him once or twice rather harshly, I thought, but he just got on with it. Seems chilled out, but drunk nicely from both teats, really good.
and also Congratulations to our friends Janka & Edie who had a baby son today a few hours later, we were joking that they are due on the same day, but it actually worked out exactly the same day. they had a baby boy called Jakub. Congratulations and all the best to them all.
My bees, the B hive had a handfull of dead bees again, but that could be the weak bees there were there when I gave them the frames with sirup, I am hoping to give them some paste tomorrow. as I would think they would have used it up by tomorrow.
