Woke up with a start, not sure why, the sky was as grey as it has been for the last decade or so it seems, drizzling/raining or both. I need the yellow globe to bring a smile to my face, to recharge my batteries and to get warm again, and I have not seen it for ages, truly it does feel like a long time.
The countryside around us seems to quite like this weather though everything is drinking up the elixir falling from the sky, its all green and proud.
My bees seem to just wait out the rain and then they all dash out. I am an entire week behind with my inspection 15 days after my last one with the QC in it so shall be interesting when it finally comes to it.
Veg garden is doing great, except for the fauna that loves these weather conditions, which seems to be enjoying the fresh, new shoots coming out of the ground. Well there you go, they do say “every cloud has a silver lining” there is always someone or something that benefits out of a misfortune of another.
Tomorrow we have been “promised” a glimpse of the sun, HURRAY!
We have received our wood for the sheep pen, so work may begin, well as soon as the wet stuff stops falling. We will keep you updated.
