and so are the bees, or so I hope as I can hear them.
Had a really cold spell over the weekend, otherwise it has been -7 or so, over the weekend it went over -10. The bees seem fine. I have not done anything with the beehives or bees, there is nothing that I need to do really as I only just started last year. The only thing I need to decide is whether I will be putting foundation into my frames or leave them for the bees to build, and if so I need to make some sort of lip on the frame. Need to read up about it.
There is quite a bit of snow on the ground, not as much as last year but quite enough. We have been having fun on the slopes and behind the house. Mike has built a kicker for us. I have got great plans for my “tricks”.
This is the first year I have seen hares round the house. Have never seen them this low or even their prints. Although in the deep snow I probably would not have seen it, either way.
Crocheting is doing well, made a rabbit with a basket full of carrots the other day. I liked it, even if I say so myself.
all the best for now,
before I go, Mike, my husband has done a website which he dedicated to my granddad and his negatives. He has been scanning these over the past 4 years, dedicated loads of time and effort into it and now Milan Saradin has got his own website www.milansaradin.com I am very proud and very happy that his photos are out there for all to see. Other than this Mike has got his own website www.mikesimages.co.uk where there are lots of pictures from the past (negatives that he bought), his past, our past and our present life here. Have a look for yourselves. He also has his own blog, which he updates more often than me, at least this time of the year. www.mikezblog.co.uk
