You would not even know we had bees in our hive if you looked at it in the morning.Once the sun shines into the hive it spurs all its inhabitants into action, “quick” there are so many flowers that we can reach and bring in food for our mates. We walked by a clover field earlier and it was bustling with bees and the sweet smell of their flowers was stunning.
I am thinking about doing a foundationless hive next year, have been reading about them on the net. Sounds very interesting.
My bees are still very busy, which is good. Planning to buy some hard blocks and change the stand where the hive sits, not move it by much, just change the base. Will take a picture once we have done it.
