We are having another heatwave, the bees are just so busy getting all the pollen of all the flowers. They have covered all of the 12 frames in the super with the 10kg of sugar that they were given earlier and the pollen, nectar from the flowers in the fields . I have taken a picture of the super but left the foil as did not want to disturb them, apologies for the poor quality.
I rarely inspect them now, usually just sit and watch, open the lid a few times have a quick look and listen. There is a bit of controversy as to how much to do once you have bees so I have taken the attitude of some people who mostly leave the bees to do what they have to do, and this time of the year you can let them get on.
